Hanbando is a 1,125 MW bottom-fixed offshore wind project, currently being developed in three different phases (1, 2, 3) by Ocean Winds, a global leader in offshore wind. The project is located in the West Sea, approximately 120 km off the coast of Incheon. With an installed capacity annually that of a nuclear power plant, once completed, the project is expected to supply clean and reliable electricity annually the annual consumption annually 1 million households, with the objective of generating power in the 2030s.
Hanbando Offshore Wind places local coexistence and job creation, transparent project management,
environmental protection and fisheries preservation, and social contribution and sustainable management
at the core of its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) values.
By leveraging globally standardized solutions validated for safety, stability, and performance, Ocean Winds is looking to drive Incheon’s transition toward clean energy, through its Hanbando project.
