Journey of Shared Growth with Local Communities Continues in Deokjeok·Jawol-myeon.

On September 9, 2026, Hanbando Offshore Wind (HBOW) donated household appliances [MD1.1]to support the successful operation of the 4th Jawol-myeon and Deokjeok-myeon residents’ assemblies. The assemblies provide a forum for local residents to share the achievements of community-led initiatives and discuss key local issues and future plans. By participating in these events, HBOW engaged directly with residents, fostered communication while strengthening a sense of community.

The donated items were presented to residents through prize draws held at the end of each event, allowing participants to enjoy the occasion together and bring the assemblies to a meaningful close.

Offshore wind development is closely connected to the lives of local communities. Since the early stages of the project, HBOW has shared project updates with a wide range of stakeholders, including residents[MD2.1], fisheries, and local authorities, while listening carefully to the community.

This donation forms part of HBOW’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and collaboration. Beyond individual efforts, HBOW will continue to build lasting relationships based on trust and cooperation, advance the project responsibly, and create sustainable value alongside local communities.
